Open Video Capture is a tool that lets you capture the video from distinct devices and store them in AVI format to watch them as many times as you wish.

Open Video Capture lets you capture the video directly from a webcam, but also from other devices like a TV card, digital video and cameras, and other types of devices. The user can establish the compression level, the video codec, audio codec, frame rate, and size of the resulting video.

Open Video Capture also lets you make screen shots of the video capture (simply by a key combination).

Apart from AVI format you can also save the video in DivX, xVId and WMA.

To work correctly you need to previously install DirectX 9.0.
